Our girls' day at the Thermae Spa of the Hotel Villa Padierna was heavenly. Each of us had a full body salt and oil scrub and a skin brightener facial which lasted two hours. The spa is unique with several steam rooms (from Balinese to Turkish to Indian) and with products from the British spa company - ESPA. We are definitely going back for more next week.
After our beauty treatments, we went to La Pergola, the hotel's poolside restaurant for some lunch. Sitting underneath the grapevines and shaded from the sun was a pleasant way dine al fresco. We each had the arugula and cherry tomato salad with slivers of Parmesan cheese. We also shared a bowl of guacamole and nachos plus a plate of crispy breaded chicken strips. The food was simple but good and just what we needed. We finished off with espressos and headed off to pick up the children from the soccer camp.

It's so nice to have a girls outing and pamper ourselves without children and hubby around ... just us girls :)
That's right Cooking Ninja! Some days it should just be the girls having a great time.
