Surprise mini-break: LONDON

It was a spur-of-the-moment decision what with the holiday season approaching and the last chance to get away was the next few days so A and I have decided to go to London tonight and come back on Sunday - four nights and three days to explore the city, visit a couple of museums, check out new restaurants and just spend time together alone.

We'll be staying at the Marriott London Grosvenor Square which has Gordon Ramsey's David Rockwell-designed one star Michelin restaurant maze. Other places on our list are the newish Tom's Kitchen from celebrated chef Tom Aikens and the packed to the rafters The Wolseley creation of the successful restaurant duo - Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, previous owners of Caprice Holdings which own celebrated restaurants: Le Caprice, The Ivy and J Sheekey.

London, here we come.....
